Phoenix Meets Cows

Hey Everyone! It's been a while since we posted over here on The Life of a Happy Husky. 


We've been enjoying life, taking long walks, even longer naps, and as you can see below…meeting cows for the very first time! 


We stopped off in Daytona while traveling and saw this herd of cow folk and decided to let Phoenix get a closer look. 


He loved them! He was previously talking to them, but stopped by the time I got my camera out. 


He wanted to get as close as possible. I'm sure he would have loved to play with the calves. They were as curious about him as he was with them!

Guilt Ridden

Poor Phoenix. He's always had a guilt ridden look when he's been bad. He gives himself away all the time. The other night he was naughty right in front of me. A bit of a shocker, since he's normally quite sneaky about his bad behavior. Anyhow, I found him on the bed and just had to photograph his guilt.

Visiting Ella

Hey Pup Pals and Lurkers!

Guess where I've been all week?

Guess, guess I betcha can't guess!

I went to Grandpa & Grandma's house! Awoo!! And you know what that means? That means I get to see Ella! Awoooo!!

Oh, and Auntie Amanda too. I love my Auntie.

I got to spend several days visiting Ella. It was so much fun. I love being spoiled!

Here I am on my way down. I refused to lay down. The whole way.

We had lots of fun romping around and chasing each other.

We also enjoyed looking out the window.

You never know who you're gonna see out there!

Of course we can't forget hanging out poolside.

Before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye. Mom tried to get some photos of us together before we left.

We didn't feel like cooperating. Or, rather I did not feel like cooperating.

First I had my eyes closed.

Then I got distracted.

Then neither of us could hold still.

It's time to say goodbye, but I don't wanna.

Goodbyes are no fun. Let's be silly instead!

I didn't sit down this time either.

My Birthday

Awoo everyone. It's been a bit since I posted.

I've been a bit preoccupied with taking care of Mom.

She got really sick after eating some sushi. It was bad.

There was lots of, well you know, nasty stuff. I checked on the situation and then sent Dad in there. Maggie went too, but she didn't stay long.

Dad sure was a trooper to stay in there with Mom. Gross.

But after all the ba..., I mean nastiness, I took care of Mom and stayed extra close to her. Nothing makes you feel better like a big ball of furry cuteness right? Right!

So here was the big news.

I had a birthday!

I am now 9 years old.

I officially turned 9 on the 29th of January. I celebrated with some Peanut Butter Frosty Paws. Mom had planned to make me stuff, but she was too busy being sick.

I Am Not A Reindeer

I think Mom needs to stop shopping.

She's always finding these "fun" little things to buy and bring home and torment me with.

Her latest find was reindeer antlers. She said they were so cheap she just couldn't pass them up. That and the 32 cent box of chocolates she bought for Dad. Uhhh, what gives Mom?

Even worse, she demanded I pose for her.

Hey Everybody!

Mom took me out for a nice long evening in the backyard.

It ended up being a little longer than expected because she locked us out of the house. Hawoo. Silly Mom. Good thing Dad came to the rescue.

She said it wasn't her fault, something about stupid sliding glass doors locking by themselves. Uh huh, sure Mom.

Phoenix and Ducky

Just a few pics of Phoenix and his beloved duck. I caught him napping with it, but by the time I grabbed my camera and snuck back in he was on to me. He looked so precious sleeping with it.
